Kaylia Nemour

This year’s International Gymnix will see talented athletes from across the globe travel to Montreal to compete in the international elite sessions, with 2024 Olympic uneven bars champion Kaylia Nemour of Algeria expected to headline the field.

In addition to Nemour, the list of athletes on the senior cup roster includes Olympian Eythora Thorsdottir leading a team from the Netherlands, while recent Elite Canada champion and first-year senior Lia Monica Fontaine will be a standout competitor on the host nation’s team alongside a next generation team that also includes Gabrielle Black, Alyssa Guerrier Calixte, and Lia Redick.

The junior field will see a solid presence from the United States, with Charleigh Bullock, Kylie Smith, Addy VanGrinsven, and Trinity Wood on the list of competitors, but they’ll face a super strong French team that includes junior European all-around champion Elena Colas along with Lola Chassat, Perla Denechere, and Maïana Prat, and a strong up-and-coming team from Japan, which features junior Asian all-around champion Muneta Rinon.

Elite competition begins on Friday, March 7, with the challenge all-around competition at 1:15 pm local time followed by the senior cup at 7 pm. The junior cup will be held at 6 pm on Saturday, March 8, and all apparatus finals will be held on Sunday, March 9 at 2 pm. You can follow the action through a live stream hosted by the Home Team Network, while live scoring will be on LiveMeet.
